Best Examples of Nonprofit Squarespace Website Designs and Inspiration

I love recommending Squarespace for nonprofit organizations looking to manage their own websites! Clients are usually relieved to find a way to cut down on monthly costs and be able to perform updates themselves without emailing a website developer and waiting for it to get done.

Of course, if you're going to be working with a designer to get the site organized and ready to launch, you'll want to get some inspiration for the design of the site. I love when my clients come to me with websites they like the look or functionality of. It gives us a communication piece to go off of ensuring we're on the same page (literally and metaphorically). 😉

I've included notes on some of the 'Site Strengths' of each site - what helps it really stand apart from others in the field! Let's check out the examples below!

Website Design By: Foxtrot Branding

Site Strengths:

This beautiful feminine design offers a calming, safe environment to discuss the difficulties of infertility. Before you even scroll, you understand who they support and why. Clear steps are laid out for those looking to apply, participate, or donate, and links are divided between 2 menus to prevent becoming too busy.

Do you already have photography from multiple performances or shows? Put it to use! Your website is the best place to showcase high quality images that draw readers into the experience.

Site Strengths:

This website builds proof, proof, proof with facts, and then tells you what to do with the information you just learned. "Join the Movement" buttons make it clear what your next step is, and how to help children get the jumpstart they need in their education.

Simple paragraphs describe their mission and purpose, and the home page quickly directs those reading to the different options they may need, whether they're looking to being an application or learn more about their next steps.

Website Design By: Stanley Creative (Yours Truly 🙂 )

Site Strengths:

I loved working with BCWI to help them clarify what their website redesign needed, and feature the many ways they have to interact online! Highlighting why to join, including testimonials of how life has changed by joining, and giving a taste with articles (a blog) online - this website encourages women to reach out and get connected with their regional community.

Site Strengths:

You're building a website? Use it! I love to see how this organisation is updating with fresh events and opportunities to get involved - without even visiting their location you can already see how engaging the nonprofit is through their site!

Website Design By: Revamp Design Studio

Site Strengths:

I'm not certain this is a nonprofit, but I am certain that this is a gorgeous website! Great use of a cursive font to break up text, taking time to detail the "Why" of what they do, and making resources readily available from the home page make this website stand OUT!

Website Design By: Knapsack Creative

Site Strengths:

Instead of "About", try link titles like "Who We Are" and "What we Do" - this demonstrates approachability and a willingness to explain to those who may be concerned they aren't right for the organization. It also has a terrific use of stats and a testimonial video showing grateful recipients.

Site Strengths:

This may seem simple, but if you know most people visiting your website are looking to get in touch with you, make it SO simple for them! Including a contact for ensures that readers feel you're ready to answer questions and wanting to engage.

Site Strengths: A terrific use of design, Elevate Academy uses custom graphics around photos and as backgrounds to add details to the site and make it stand out. A designer can help to add those little details you may miss to really make the site pop!
